o   Excellent eye for 3D artwork
o   Excellent experience using 3D Max (Character Studio)
o   A strong portfolio with examples showing strong key framed animation skills and the ability to portray convincing motion of a wide variety of subjects
o   Experience using visual ‘motion graph’ tools to connect animations together and the ability to control how the character moves and behaves in-game
o   Strong fundamental understanding of animation principles - posing, rhythm, etc.
o   Excellent written, verbal and organisational skills
o   Self-motivated, team player with very strong work ethic and cooperation
o   Minimum of 2+ years of experience in the game industry.

Bonus for:
o        Being part of a team that shipped a AAA game title, in the role of an Animator
o        Solid experience creating 3D animation
o        Familiarity with a variety of rendering engines such as Unity 3D, Maya etc. would be advantageous

“Chocolate Films are looking for a 2D comic-character animator who is based in London (via The Unit List), for a short 90-120 second film for a charity. We estimate the work to take around two weeks (including all amends) and we would need you to be in our offices for the duration of the project.”

Animation:
Animatic Editor, TV, Dreamworks.
“Generate timed video of storyboard panels, audio, and sound effects to serve as animation reference.”
Location:
Glendale, CA
Requirements:
o   Responsible for generating a rough assembly cut of the episode based on the Director's notes and vision.
o   Ensure that the rough assembly is reviewed and approved by Director and other creative department heads. Generate notes and apply to ensure that animatic pitch timing is accurate.
o   Ensure that quality issues and clarity are adhered to for sound. As needed, add temporary sound effects from sound libraries.
o   Ensure appropriate production crew members are aware of the temp music, sound requests and any quality issues.
o   Participate in animatic pitch sessions and maintain responsibility for all revisions to animatic.
o   Work with Director to intake animatic notes, provide revisions, clarify feedback and generate an output of the locked animatic and prepare for shipping to vendor studios.
o   Create outputs of pitch animatic and locked animatic for shipping to partner studios.
o   Ensure production staff is made aware of pickup lines and scratch dialog.
o   Responsible for timely delivery of deliverables and partner with production to ensure issues or concerns are elevated as needed.
o   Create edit list as a reference for partner studios to ensure timing is accurate.

Qualifications:
o   1 - 2 years editing experience on Premiere or Avid.
o   Ability to work in high-pressure environment under tight deadlines
o   BA in Film preferred, or equivalent experience/education
